Gancho is a purpose-built padel destination in the west of Glasgow, transforming a previously disused urban site into a vibrant new centre for sport and community. Conceived as a catalyst for regeneration, the development combines contemporary sporting facilities with welcoming social spaces, creating a destination that extends beyond the courts. Through a considered approach to architecture, materiality and urban renewal, the proposal seeks to establish a distinctive identity within the city, breathing new life into an underutilised site while encouraging activity, connection and a renewed sense of place.
